A two-day seminar on Gender Equality was organized under the Women Development Cell and RUSA at Government Polytechnic Jamnagar from 28th November 2024 to 29th November 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about gender equality and empower students with knowledge about its significance in contemporary society. The keynote speaker for the seminar was Ms. Bhavini Thakkar, Head of the Psychology Department, DKV Arts and Science College, Jamnagar. She delivered insightful sessions on various aspects of gender equality, discussing the importance of breaking stereotypes, promoting inclusivity, and ensuring equal opportunities for all. Her engaging discussions and interactive approach helped students gain a deeper understanding of gender-related issues. The seminar saw active participation from students and faculty members of Government Polytechnic Jamnagar.
