An expert lecture was organized for the girls students under the Women Development Cell RUSA at Government Polytechnic Jamnagar. The session, conducted by Dr. Renuka Barai, (Epidemiologist, Jamnagar) focused on critical topics such as adolescence, menstrual health, and hygiene. The objective of the program was to create awareness among girls students regarding menstrual problems, address misconceptions, and promote healthy practices. Dr. Barai shared vital information about managing menstrual health effectively, discussed common challenges faced by young women, and provided practical solutions. The session was interactive, allowing students to ask questions and clarify their doubts. Many students expressed appreciation for the informative and empowering nature of the lecture.
