Employability with Empathy for Girls - Mahindra Pride Classroom Project of Naandi Foundation 20 to 28-Jan 2025

The Mahindra Pride Classroom Project, initiated by the Naandi Foundation, conducted a 40-hour offline training module on Employability Skills at Government Polytechnic, Jamnagar from 20th January 2025 to 28th January 2025. The program was designed specifically for girls to enhance their employability skills with a focus on empathy, communication, professionalism, and life skills. The training module was divided into multiple interactive sessions covering essential skills required for professional and personal growth. Objectives of the Training Program

• To equip students with essential life skills for career and personal development. • To enhance communication and soft skills for better employability.

• To train students in professional ethics and body language. • To prepare students for job interviews, group discussions, and workplace adaptability.

• To develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital identity management skills. Training Module Breakdown The training spanned over seven days, covering key employability skills in different domains:

Day 1 • Life Skill: I am Unique • Soft Skill: Body Language & Professional Grooming • Communication Skill: Importance of English

Day 2 • Life Skill: Good Health for a Good Life • Soft Skill: Goal Setting & Time Management • Interview Skill: Job Opportunity (Input Session)

Day 3 • Communication Skill: Professional Communication • Life Skill: Digital Identity • Soft Skill: Money Management

Day 4 • Soft Skill: Professional Ethics • Life Skill: Critical Thinking • Interview Skill: Presenting a Project

Day 5 • Life Skill: Problem Solving • Presentation Skills: Group Presentation (Output Session) • Presentation Skills: Group Presentation (Output Session)

Day 6 • Interview Skill: Acing a Group Discussion • Life Skill: Conflict Management • Interview Skill: Interview Readiness 1

Day 7 • Interview Skill: Interview Readiness 2 • Recap & Closing Ceremony

The Employability with Empathy for Girls training program, in collaboration with Mahindra Pride Classroom Project and Naandi Foundation, successfully empowered students at Government Polytechnic, Jamnagar with valuable life and employability skills. The program provided a structured, practical, and engaging learning environment, preparing the participants for future career opportunities. The training was conducted by Shri Mitul N Patel. The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and staff, with a focus on empowering women with skills to protect themselves in challenging situations.
