Government Polytechnic, Jamanagar has celebrated National Space Day 2024  on 23^th August 2024 to create awareness and spread the importance and significance of our space achievements .

            In celebration of National Space Day 2024 , following activities were organized.

1)     Elocution competition.

2)     Expert sessions by staff members.

3)     Videos were shown to students form ISRO Website https://www.isro.gov.in/NSPD2024/Video.html

Elocution competition.

The event started with Elocution competition, Total 4 students enthusiastically participated in the event. 

Initially, Dr. Nirav H. Shah, Lecturer Mathematics gave brief introduction about the day and significance of our space missions. 

Shri A. M. Patel, Principal G. P. Jamngar motivated students to take part in such events. He emphasized on role of engineering in all space projects of ISRO. Dr. N. A. Dani, HoD General gave information about recent ISRO projects Chandrayan-3 and Gaganyan.

Expert sessions by Staff members:

 Dr. U. M. Joshi, Lecturer Physics

            Dr. U. M. Joshi, Lecturer Physics has shared her view on journey of ISRO, its working and various services of ISRO. She gave technical details of many space projects.  She has explained many very interesting facts of Chandrayan 2 and Chandrayan 3.
