A Seminar on Startup awareness case studies & SSIP 2.0 Organized by SSIP cell of Government Polytechnic Jamnagar on 3rd October 2022 at new building Auditorium from 3:00 PM To 4:30 PM.

At the Starting of the event greetings were given by Event Coordinator Smt. D.B.Pandya. After that SSIP coordinator Shri R. K. Borsaniya welcomed the Guest of the event SDM of Jamnagar Shri. D. D. Shah by bouquet of flowers  and memento given to guest by I/C Principal Shri Nilesh Dani.

Afterwards I/C Principal Shri Nilesh Dani shared a few words on the occasion of this event.

Motivational speech on startup given by SDM Shri D. D. Shah. After that students took the oath regarding voting by Shri R. S. Oza, TPO of G.P.Jamnagar & vote of thanks was also given by Shri R. S. Oza to Our Guest SDM Shri D. D. Shah.

After that our first event speaker & SSIP co-coordinator Shri M. D. Naraniya shared details on various types of innovation. He gave interesting examples to students to explain his point of view regarding innovation & startups.

After the first session a small oral quiz on startups was taken by event coordinator Smt. D. B. Pandya. Students awarded chocolate as a token of appreciation for giving the right answer.

Second session was then conducted by Shri P. L. Gamit, EC Dept. SSIP coordinator on Real life case studies on startup. He also gave good examples like teapost to explain how small ideas can turn to million dollar business and unicorns too.

After that small ICT based quiz on startups taken by Smt. D. B. Pandya. Students awarded chocolate as a token of appreciation by giving the right answer.

Third session conducted by Shri R.K.Borsaniya, SSIP coordinator on SSIP 2.0 policy. He explained to students about the success of the original SSIP policy and how SSIP 2.0 policy is an upgrade to the old 1.0 policy. He also explained to students how the SSIP cell of the colg is functioning to give fast access to funds to them, how passout students can also get help from it and also who should actually utilize this scheme. He explained challenges involved in the startups and also the rewards one can get after the successful journey of a startup. 

After that small google form based quiz on startups taken by Smt. D. B. Pandya. All the Students were notified to be awarded an appreciation e-certificate after its submission. 

After that a google form was given to participants to voluntarily give feedback about the event and speakers. Feedback screenshots are attached with this report.
