An interactive session with title An Expert Talk on the journey of an Entrepreneur was organized by SSIP & IIC cell, G P Jamnagar as celebration for World Entrepreneurship Day 2023 on 21st August 2023 at the new building Auditorium from 11:45 AM To 01:30 PM.

At the Starting of the event greetings were given by Event Coordinator Shri S.A. Pithia. After that he welcomed the Guest of the event founder of Craftology Laserprint Pvt Ltd Mr. Savan Solanki who is also an alumni of EC Department of Government Polytechnic Jamnagar.

Afterwards I/C Principal Shri H. J. Baldaniya sir shared a few words on the occasion of the event.

After that the host Shri S. A. Pithia sir urged Shri M. D. Naraniya sir, SSIP co-coordinator to share his views on the day of World Entrepreneursip Day. A very motivational and informative speech was given by him covering various aspects like importance of entrepreneurship, its impact on world and country’s economy, life of typical entrepreneur etc.

After that next session was handed over to Shri R. K. Borsaniya, SSIP coordinator by event host. He explained in very short about activities and support structure which is run at college level under the initiative of SSIP and IIC and how students can leverage its advantage. 

After that Shri R. K. Borsaniya moved the event to its main phase which was an interactive discussion with the guest on his journey as an entrepreneur. He explained his current startup’s work so that all present could have an idea of the guest’s ongoing startup Craftology Laserprint Pvt Ltd. Then he asked the guest various questions like what inspired him to do the startup, what struggle he had, what was his support structure, what was his business plan & marketing strategy, what changes he felt in his life from start to current situation and what he advises to the new upcoming entrepreneurs. Shri Savan Solanki provided very very valuable insight to the audience on each question and provided them with his real life practical examples and solutions of problems he had in his startup. 

After that mic was handed over to Shri A. M. Bhatt, EC Department Head who is also life time mentor of the invited guest to share his experiences as a mentor for the invited guest Mr. Savan Solanki. He shared old memories of the level of work and motivation the invited guest and his batch had and motivated the present audience to follow their footsteps.

After that a vote of thanks was given by event host Shri. S. A. Pithiya sir. He thanked student and faculty attendees and organizing persons from each department and also our Guest Shri Savan Solanki sir for giving his valuable time.

After that students were allowed to interact with the resource person on an individual basis for their individual doubts and concerns. Many students interacted personally with guest Mr. Savan Solanki and had his valuable insights.
