A Webinar on Artificial Intelligence was organized by SSIP cell of Government Polytechnic Jamnagar on 26th August 2023 at 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM timings via two online streaming platforms Google Meet & Youtube Live. The webinar did aim to provide its attendees the understanding of fundamentals of A.I., chatgpt and other tools with its various use cases. It was expected to make attendees aware about potential impact of AI in all sectors and bring forward their interest in AI based startup projects/PoC/Prototypes. 9 different colleges students and faculty members did take part in this online event. From total 564 students 434 attendees were present during the event

The webinar started with very basic topics like what is AI, various domains its currently used in and its few real life use cases. Later the resource person Shri R. K. Borsaniya explained various A.I. based tools with demonstration which included Gamma.app(to create various presentations in a few minutes),  synthesia.io (to generate AI based realistic voices), bing image creator(to generate images from text) etc…Later he explained how to register and use chatgpt, its various kinds of usages in education, office work, health and finances. After that he explained potential risks involved with AI and how to work along with them without getting impacted. At last he explained a few future usages of A.I. in robotics, medical, human augmentation etc fields and the webinar was concluded after small doubt solving session.
